When we released the Multi Analyser device for Live 10 we were taken aback with the response that it got, analysing audio across different tracks had been done before but this device was designed by Mark Towers as proof of concept of the new API capabilities of Live 10. Basically it was part of his re-certification to retain that illustrious title of Ableton Certified Trainer.
With numerous mentions around the internet culminating in a Free Stuff Friday feature from Ableton themselves it's quickly become our most downloaded product!
And then in came the feature requests...
One of the first to share on the social channels was Danny J Lewis of the Underground Music Production group on Facebook. His request was simple....

"Can you make the visualiser detachable so i can see the impact of my tweaking without having to have the track with the device in it in focus?"

He wasn't the first, nor the last to ask for this upgrade so Mark has set to work to bring this and further routing capabilities to the Multi Analyser XL!

With a large floating window that's detachable from the main device you can now focus on each track and make changes whilst seeing the results without having to click back to the track that contains the device!
Additionally you can choose to see the audio represented Pre FX, Post FX & Post Mixer!
